Browns awarded two compensatory picks: See where they pick in all 7 rounds of NFL Draft

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns were awarded two compensatory picks, giving them 10 total picks in the 2025 NFL Draft once their trade with Philadelphia for quarterback Kenny Pickett becomes official at the start of the new league year on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

The NFL awarded the Browns the final pick in the sixth round, No. 216 overall, and the 38th pick in the seventh round, No. 254 overall, the fourth-to-last pick in the draft.

Under the rules for compensatory draft selections, a team losing more or better compensatory free agents than it acquires in the previous year is eligible to receive compensatory draft picks. Compensatory free agents are determined by a formula based on salary, playing time and postseason honors.

The picks are awarded between the third and seventh rounds.

The Browns lost tight end Harrison Bryant, defensive tackle Jordan Elliott, quarterback Joe Flacco and linebacker Sione Takitaki in free agency in 2024 and signed linebacker Jordan Hicks and defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson.
