The NFL unveiled its list of compensatory picks for the 2025 draft and the full draft listing on Tuesday afternoon, showing that the Seahawks will get three picks as compensation for the losses a year ago from a free agent group that included Damien Lewis, Jordyn Brooks, Colby Parkinson and Bobby Wagner.
The comp picks the Seahawks received consisted of one in the fourth round (137) and two in the fifth (172, 175).
That’s better than what was projected by OvertheCap.com, which had the Seahawks with a fourth, a fifth and a sixth.
Because trades do not become official until the new league year begins Wednesday, the full listing did not include picks the Seahawks will acquire from the DK Metcalf and Geno Smith trades.
Picks 52 and 92 are expected to come from the Steelers and Raiders, respectively, for Metcalf and Smith. The other eight were listed by the NFL Tuesday.
Including those picks, the Seahawks have: 18, 50, 52, 82, 92, 137, 172, 175, 185 and 234.
The Metcalf trade is reported to include a swap of picks in the sixth and seventh rounds, which means the Seahawks presumably will send pick 185 to the Steelers for one of their two seventh-round picks, 223 or 229.
