Former Chiefs wide receiver finds a long-term home with L.A. Rams in free agency

DeMarcus Robinson enjoyed a very effective season with the L.A. Rams in 2024, so it's no surprise to see the former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver back in the fold with a new two-year deal.

Robinson, who originally joined the Rams in 2023, proved to be a valuable contributor with 7 receiving touchdowns in '24. Robinson became far more important for Matthew Stafford and the Rams' offense after injuries affected the wide receiver room, and the veteran wideout took full advantage of the greater amount of reps and targets.

Robinson set a few career marks last season with the Rams, including targets (64), yards per catch (16.3), and touchdowns (7).

Before returning to the Rams, Robinson spent the first six seasons of his NFL career with the Chiefs. Drafted in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Florida, Robinson developed into a dependable role player and was an important complementary weapon alongside stars like Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce.

The Chiefs allowed Robinson to leave in free agency in 2022 and he joined the Baltimore Ravens offense for a single season before catching on with the Rams in 2023. In his nine-year NFL career, Robinson has 250 catches for 3,013 receiving yards and 27 scores.
