Breaking: Chiefs Likely To Receive Massive Punishment From League (Report)

The Kansas City Chiefs are in the midst of a different type of off-season. For the first time in nearly three full seasons, they’re not the reigning Super Bowl Champions. In fact, the world saw their team get dismantled on National Television against the Philadelphia Eagles.

However, things may be going from bad to worse for this franchise.

Ronnie Stanley and the Ravens negotiated a three-year extension worth $60 million before free agency. The soon-to-be 31-year-old has played for the Ravens for his entire nine-year career. However, there’s some allegations facing his free agent market:

Speaking on NBC Sports Boston, Sports Illustrated NFL insider Albert Breer reported that the Kansas City Chiefs offered Stanley around $20 million annually . Breer also reports that the Washington Commanders and New England Patriots each offered him over $24 million per season.

As noted by the ML Football X/Twitter account, the teams who tried signing Ronnie Stanley may have committed tampering since he was still under contract with Baltimore when they issued their offers:

🚨BREAKING: The #Chiefs and #Commanders illegally tampered with #Ravens tackle Ronnie Stanley, by making him offers before he re-signed with Baltimore.
