Arsenal should make a move for Porto striker Samu Aghehowa, who has attracted interest from several top European clubs.
The Gunners are set to sign a striker this summer as they have faced injury problems this year under Mikel Arteta. Both Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz are out for the year, and Arsenal failed to sign a striker.

They have been linked to several but made just one concrete move for a number nine as they saw a January bid for Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins rejected.
Many have been critical of Arsenal for not signing a striker, and now that the Premier League title race looks all but over, the Gunners will be looking at who to sign in the summer to solve their issues in attack.
However, one name that has been linked to Arsenal and should be considered is Porto’s Samu Aghehowa…
Aghehowa would be the perfect striker signing for Arsenal
Samu Aghehowa is a 20-year-old striker for Porto who has generated many column inches in Portugal this season for being one of the most promising and effective attackers in the league.
The Spanish number nine has scored 20 goals in 33 matches in all competitions for Porto, incredible figures considering that he is just 20.
Aghehowa plays as a physical striker who both likes to hold the ball up, and also get in behind the opposing defences – exactly what Arsenal need.
He joined Porto last summer for a fee of £12.6m and is now expected to be worth £40 million, a figure that Arsenal should consider paying as soon as possible. They will have to battle rivals Manchester United for him as the Red Devils are reportedly keen to sign him.
The 20-year-old is already a Champions League calibre striker and is only set to improve from where he is, it means that he could develop into one of the best strikers in world football. His scoring record has been second-to-none and he is exactly the profile of number nine that Arsenal need.
Aghehowa is a cheaper alternative to Isak and Sesko
Arsenal have been strongly linked to signing both Benjamin Sesko and Alexander Isak, however, both are expected to command a high transfer fee.
Isak is the most established, netting 19 goals in 25 Premier League games for Newcastle. However, he is likely to cost upwards of £100 million, which is a huge investment.
Sesko isn’t much more proven than Aghehowa, yet Sesko is expected to cost around £70 million. Aghehowa is having a better scoring season than Sesko, he’s younger and he’s cheaper…it’s a no brainer.
