U.S. weapons shipments to Ukraine through the Jasionka logistics hub in Poland have returned to previous levels, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said at a press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on March 12.
“I confirm that arms deliveries via Jasionka have returned to previous levels,” Sikorski said, as quoted by TVN24.
Polish Deputy Defense Minister Paweł Zalewski had earlier announced the resumption of shipments.
The first report of the resumed deliveries came from Pavlo Palisa, deputy head of Ukraine’s presidential office and an adviser to President Volodymyr Zelensky on military matters.
Ukraine and the United States held talks on March 11, during which Kyiv agreed to a U.S. proposal for a 30-day ceasefire, provided that Russia also abides by it. Following the talks, Washington said it would restart arms shipments to Ukraine and resume intelligence sharing, both of which had been suspended in early March.
