The Carrington academy graduate left on loan in January, with many watching his progress closely.
While not at his absolute best, he has provided three assists in eight games across all competitions.

He produced two assists to set up Marco Asensio for both goals against Chelsea in February.
Villa manager Unai Emery has been pleased with Rashford’s creativity.
The club is now weighing up whether to trigger the £40m option to buy in the loan agreement.
However, Rashford’s permanent departure from Old Trafford could cost United financially.
Marcus Rashford may receive £20m pay-off
According to the Daily Mail, United would owe Rashford a pay-off if he leaves permanently.
This would account for his wage drop from his massive £300k-a-week contract.
The potential payout could reach £20m, eating up half of the £40m United would receive.
United need every financial boost they can get this summer.
Speaking on the Overlap with Gary Neville, Sir Jim Ratcliffe admitted the club has been overspending by £100m per year.
Had this continued, United would have run out of money by winter 2025.
The club need all the money they can get to financially pay off debt and further interest.
It therefore comes as very little surprise that huge homegrown stars, such as Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho were linked with an exit.
Let alone the losses they are already set to make with the likes of Mason Mount, Casemiro and Antony.
Despite cost-cutting efforts, United are already committed to spending £89m this summer.
A smaller transfer budget means every lost pound is a blow to the club’s rebuild.
Some may argue Rashford should let United off the fee, given their dire financial state.
His shock interview in January ultimately set up his exit.
Now, his departure could hit INEOS’ financial plans hard.
