Everton are looking to make a number of appointments ahead of the new campaign.
The Friedkin Group have landed on Merseyside with big plans for Everton, and changes are going to need to be made to reach those goals.
Big improvements have already been made following the appointment of David Moyes, as the Toffees have dragged themselves clear of the relegation fight.
However, to take the club to the next level, the Friedkins are going to need more changes off the pitch.
Everton have appointed Angus Kinnear as their new CEO, and there could be more boardroom additions to follow over the coming weeks.
There are a number of names who have been speculated already, with the upcoming summer transfer window the first opportunity for TFG to really flex their muscles.
And one of the reported targets has now just been praised by Everton coach Charlie Adam.

Everton coach Charlie Adam hails TFG target David Weir
As announced last week, Everton are parting ways with Kevin Thelwell as their director of football at Finch Farm.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
The Friedkins are now going to adopt a new dynamic with their recruitment set-up.
Brighton & Hove Albion chief David Weir is a target for Everton, but there are doubts as to whether he would actually leave the South Coast.
Speaking on the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast, Adam hailed Weir’s leadership having played with him during their time at Rangers.
There’s a couple of good lads I played with. You know, David Weir, an experienced guy,” said Adam.
“He was a lot older than me, but really professional when he came into Rangers, and I was just a young kid learning the game and the way he went about it.”
Everton fans want to see Weir hired by TFG, with the club looking to really mix things up behind-the-scenes.
Weir is a familiar face to Moyes, as well as Adam, having played under the Scotsman during his time as an Everton player.
Charlie Adam’s Everton future may be under scrutiny
Adam was appointed in January as Everton’s set-piece coach, a position which is coming under questioning following some recent performances.
Everton were praised for their set-pieces earlier in the season, with four goals against Wolves at Goodison coming from dead-ball situations.
However, the wheels have fallen off over recent weeks as the Blues struggle on both sides of the ball.
Moyes was frustrated by Everton’s set pieces on the weekend in the draw against Wolves at Molineux.
Given Everton have so many injuries to their attacking players, set-pieces could prove a huge threat for the Blues with some seriously tall defenders.
However, Adam is clearly struggling to get a tune out of the players when it comes to the set-pieces.
