Tens of thousands of Geordies will travel to London in the hope of seeing their side triumph over Liverpool and lift a trophy for the first time in 70 years.
Opportunity knocks for Newcastle United, who have the chance to make history in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley.
Tens of thousands of Toon fans will be heading to London to paint the town black and white, in the hope of seeing their side triumph over Liverpool and lift a trophy for the first time in 70 years.
Fans will want to put the disappointment of 2023's cup final defeat to Manchester United behind them and see Eddie Howe's side etch their name in Tyneside history forever.
Here is everything you need to know ahead of the head-to-head on Sunday (16 March).
Can I still buy tickets for the match?
All tickets for the game have now sold out. Despite an official allocation of 31,939, tens of thousands of Newcastle United fans will descend on the capital over the weekend in pursuit of cup glory. Many have had transport and hotels booked for weeks.
Both Newcastle United and Northumbria Police are warning fans to only buy tickets through official vendors, after some supporters lost hundreds of pounds to scammers while trying to secure their seat.
There will not be the usual black and white invasion of Trafalgar Square on the night before the final, as it is staging a separate event - instead, it is expected fans will come together in Covent Garden.
Where can I watch the game if I don't have a ticket?
The match is free to watch on ITV1 and ITVX. Coverage gets underway from 3.30pm ahead of kickoff at 4.30pm.
Fanzones will be showing the game on big screens across the city, including at the Stack at St James' Park, the Utilita Arena and at Times Square in the city centre. Many fanzones require advanced booking - so you'll have to be quick to secure your spot.
Can Newcastle United win it?
It will be the second time the Magpies have played a final at the national stadium in two years, and Eddie Howe's side will be determined to go one better than they did in 2023 when they lost 2-0 to Manchester United.
The Magpies had an impressive run to the final. After a shaky start in the Third Round which saw them beat Wimbledon on penalties, Newcastle eased past Chelsea and Brentford before comprehensively beating Arsenal across two legs in the semi-finals.
They will be desperate to win - but to lift the trophy Newcastle United will have to be at their absolute best.
Standing between them and their first domestic silverware in 70 years are runaway Premier League leaders Liverpool - they are fifteen points clear at the top of the table. The Carabao Cup would also represent a first trophy for manager Arne Slot since he took charge at the start of the season. The reds will also be determined to put things right following the disappointment of their exit from the Champions League this week.
Liverpool are also the current holders of the Carabao Cup - so they will be keen to make sure the trophy returns to Merseyside for the next 12 months.
To add to that, Eddie Howe's side will have to field a depleted side for Sunday's final. Anthony Gordon is currently serving a three-match suspension following his red card in the FA Cup defeat to Brighton. Meanwhile, Lewis Hall and Sven Botman have been ruled out through injury.
The good news is that the rest of the squad - including top scorer Alexander Isak - are fit and ready to play their part.
