A 58-year-old man is slated to be charged with murder on March 13, after the death of a younger man at a Housing Board flat in Boon Lay on March 11.
The police said in a statement on March 12 that the man will be charged under Section 302(1) of the Penal Code 1871.
The Straits Times understands that the pair are brothers.
The offence of murder carries the death penalty.
