Amber Whiteley on Arsenal win, facing Man Utd at Anfield and Laws' century

We host Manchester United under the Anfield lights on Friday night (7.15pm GMT kick-off) and it’s going to be a very special occasion.

We are all really looking forward to it and it will be a proud moment for me to lead a Liverpool team and be stood on the touchline at Anfield.

Hopefully we can put in another great performance we can all be proud of and our fans can be proud of.

We will turn our focus to that game and we will put everything in to make sure we are ready to go on Friday night.

I know over the years we haven’t had much fortune playing at Anfield but I believe the girls are ready for Friday.

When you first play at Anfield, it is a new experience. But we’ve had loads of games there now to have a really good feel for it.

I believe we are over that hurdle and we can just concentrate on the game plan and the job ahead. We should feel at home there now, so that shouldn’t be a factor.

Manchester United are having a really good season and Marc Skinner has done an excellent job there. They have almost gone under the radar a bit actually. They have been on a really good run, they are really good defensively, haven’t conceded a lot of goals and are a real threat going forward.

They don’t mess about with the ball and they can go forward quickly, so we will have to be at the top of our game to get a result on Friday night. We will put everything into training this week to make sure we are in the best possible place to be able to do that.

Finally, I want to thank our supporters, who have been absolutely fantastic and gave us unbelievable support.

Playing at Anfield under the lights is the sort of stage we want to be playing on and those games we all want to be a part of.

The travelling support at Crystal Palace and Arsenal were absolutely brilliant. They really got behind us and helped get both games over the line, so hopefully they turn out in their numbers on Friday night and they will be our 12th player.

Thank you for your continued support as always.

YNWA,

**Amber**
