Newcastle United sponsor Sela to provide fans with black and white scarves at Wembley on Sunday

ยท March 12 2025, 12:30

Newcastle United's front-of-shirt sponsor Sela has ordered 32,000 limited-edition scarves for every Newcastle fan attending the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.

Last time Newcastle made it to Wembley in the Carabao Cup final in 2023, the Toon Army turned half of the iconic stadium black and white with flags left on the seats by the club.

This time, Sela have taken things a step further and fans heading to Wembley can leave their scarves at home as there'll be one there waiting for them when they get to their seats.

32 thousand limited-edition scarves will be placed in the Newcastle end of the London stadium as the Magpies look to create a fearsome atmosphere to push their lads to victory.

Sela have gifted fans scarves before but nothing on this scale

Sela have a history of providing woolly neckwear for fans after producing 6000 scarves for Newcastle fans when they took on Sunderland in the FA Cup, but this undertaking is said to be the biggest of its kind for a single football match according to The Daily Mail.

Wor Flags have coordinated with Sela to create something spectacular on Sunday and we can't wait to see it.

The flags looked amazing two years ago, but 32,000 flags in the air waving is going to be next level.

Newcastle will look to outdo their last spectacular Wembley appearance

The tide is turning ahead of Sunday's massive game

Newcastle are still the underdogs going into the game so that 12th man experience is going to be massively important for the Geordies.

Eddie Howe's men will be going into the game in better spirits than their opponents now after Liverpool were dumped out of the Champions League at the hands of PSG last night.

The tide is turning, for sure, but that doesn't mean it's going to be easy. What it is going to be, is exciting and with 32,000 noisy Geordies whipping up an atmosphere, it's going to be quite the sight too.
