**We've probably all thought about it at some point this season - would we rather have Alan Shearer in his prime or Alexander Isak up top for Newcastle United right now?**
Newcastle's all-time record goal scorer Alan Shearer was unstoppable on his day and the range of different goals he scored while wearing the famous black and white is actually mindblowing.
An old-school centre forward who got many goals from inside the area or with his head, Shearer was always capable of something spectacular, too.
The goal against Chelsea where he fended off Marcel Desailly is a personal favourite, as is the 25-yard volley against Everton or the dinked volley over the head of Peter Schmeichel against Aston Villa.

But, given Alexander Isak's reading of the modern game, his ability to run through defenders with the ball at his feet and similar ability to score from anywhere, which would you prefer?

Shearer's answer had him, Gary Lineker and Micah Richards laughing with Lineker suggesting they could play together, which Shearer loved.

Imagine that partnership, though. Newcastle would be a force to be reckoned with. It wouldn't matter if we conceded because we'd be almost guaranteed goals every game.
