Everton are preparing for a defining summer under The Friedkin Group.
The new owners have wasted no time in taking charge and improving the condition of the Merseyside club, on and off the pitch.
After completing the takeover from Farhad Moshiri in December 2024, TFG are determined to correct the wrongs of the past and bring the club in a better position financially and administratively.
David Moyes replacing Sean Dyche has already worked wonders and has all-but confirmed another season of Premier League football, this time at Bramley Moore Dock.
With that in mind, transfer work has already begun.

Everton eyeing midfield rebuild this summer
The new owners sent a message of their ruthlessness when they decided not to trigger the one-year extension in Abdoulaye Doucoure’s contract. The 32-year-old has been an important part of the squad since joining the Toffees in 2020.
Doucoure’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season and he may leave as a free agent. Along with the Mali international, Idrissa Gueye is also on course to become a free agent as his deal also expires this summer.
The 35-year-old has been superb under Moyes and provides so much-needed midfield solidity alongside James Garner, and it remains to be seen if either secure new terms.

The Merseysiders may be looking for a midfield rebuild this summer and Moyes has already set his sights on Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff.
According to talkSPORT, the 27-year-old midfielder is open to the idea of leaving the Magpies in search of regular playing time, with Moyes understood to be a huge admirer of the Englishman.
Longstaff has played 21 Premier League games for Eddie Howe’s men, but has ended up starting only eight of those games. He has fallen down the pecking order at St James’ Park and a move away could be on the cards.

Richarlison transfer could also replace Calvert-Lewin
Along with a midfield rebuild, the Merseysiders may also change their attack this summer, as Dominic Calvert-Lewin is also out of contract.
The Englishman is currently sidelined due to a hamstring injury and in his absence, Beto has thoroughly impressed everyone under Moyes.
The powerhouse striker has netted five goals in the last six Premier League games. With Calvert-Lewin heading for a summer departure, Everton have been linked with a sensational return of Richarlison from Tottenham.
The Brazilian has struggled to impress in a Spurs shirt and they are open to offloading Richarlison, which could open the doors to a welcome as the attacker was a fan favourite during his time at Goodison Park.
With changes coming, Richarlison and Longstaff could kickstart the new era.
