Our Under-21s head to Merseyside on Friday, March 14 to take on Everton in Premier League 2. Kick-off at Southport’s Big Help Stadium is scheduled for 7pm (UK time).
Mehmet Ali’s side have been full of goals in 2025, scoring 13 times in six games this calendar year.
Last time out, we drew 2 - 2 away to Crystal Palace, with goals from Michal Rosiak and Salah Oulad M’Hand helping us take a point from south London.

The Opposition
Both Everton and ourselves are on 26 points in the Premier League 2, but the Toffees have played 17 games to our 16.
Our recent form is also exactly the same, with each side having won three, drawn one and lost one of their previous five league matches.
As well as their league action this season, the Meryseysiders competed in the Premier League Cup, finishing third in a group with Cardiff City, Ipswich Town and Watford.
We may be greeted with a familiar face on Friday night in ex-Gunner Omari Benjamin. Our former striker has been in the first team squad at times for Everton this season, but has scored nine goals at under-21s level since joining the Toffees in July.
