Arsenal have been tipped to sign Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane, who is due to become a free agent in the summer.
The Gunners are likely to add a striker in the summer transfer window after it has been the main talking point of their season under Arteta this season.

However, one other position that the club are set to strengthen is on the flanks as they have struggled for depth this season. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have seen injuries, and Raheem Sterling is set to leave to re-join Chelsea in summer.
This means that Arteta may decide to sign a winger to add more depth and quality to his attacking options. One player that has been touted is Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane.
The German international previously played under Arteta at Manchester City when the Arsenal boss was Pep Guardiola’s assistant manager.
According to German outlet BILD, Arsenal are set to make a move for Sane, especially if his contract at Bayern doesn’t expire and the Bundesliga club decide to sign him to a new deal.
Sane has made 34 appearances for Vincent Kompany’s side this season, scoring eight goals and providing four assists. He has still been a regular in the starting XI despite the fact that his contract is expiring at the end of the season.
Leroy Sane could replace Sterling
Sane and Sterling were very close teammates at Manchester City, but the latter has struggled to re-create his form from the Etihad since his move to Arsenal at the start of the season.
He joined Arsenal in a late summer window loan move after being told that he wasn’t part of Enzo Maresca’s plans at Chelsea.
However, he hasn’t flourished at Arsenal either, making just 12 Premier League appearances, with no goals and one assist. Since Bukayo Saka got injured, he still hasn’t been able to make an impact due to the emergence of 17-year-old Ethan Nwaneri.
If Arsenal were to sign Sane, he could replace Sterling’s spot in the squad, and maybe hope to make more of an impact than the Chelsea loanee.
