Yasir Al-Rumayyan fully supports Eddie Howe as Newcastle United manager
All the while, the Newcastle United owners want Eddie Howe to continue as the club’s manager.
That is according to the Telegraph, who have provided details of PIF’s five-year plan to help Newcastle United become an elite club.
They report that Toon chairman Al-Rumayyan is very happy with Howe’s performance, and still sees him as a long-term manager who can help Newcastle United become a team that regularly wins trophies.

There is no reason why Al-Rumayyan should not be happy with Howe’s efforts at St James’ Park.
He has taken the club a long way since his appointment, continuously showing signs of progression.
While that progress has slowed, that has been because of PSR restrictions rather than Howe’s ability as a coach. Considering the hand he has been dealt, he has actually done very well.
For the second time in three seasons, Howe has guided Newcastle United to a cup final.
The Magpies face Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday, with Howe boasting an immediate chance to prove he is every bit the manager that the Toon chairman thinks he is.
Winning that first trophy is going to be pivotal for Newcastle United. It can create a winning mentality that currently does not exist at St James’ Park.
After the disappointment of 2023, Howe has a fresh chance to cement his legacy as Newcastle United manager.
If he does, Al-Rumayyan will be more certain than ever that Howe is the right man for the job.
