Manchester United will have a new stadium to call home sometime in the next 5-10ish years. The proposed design of what the architects are calling “New Trafford” was unveiled on Tuesday with a very mixed reception.
The stadium itself will hold some 100,000 fans and feature a massive new Stretford End. A massive video and graphics board will encircle the top of the stands, similar to features in modern National Football League stadiums in the United States, and a large canvas held by a trident of spires will protect supporters from the elements.
Berrada on funding: "Still quite early + as a PLC we can't speculate too much about the funding. What I will say is as a centrepiece it is a very attractive investment opportunity. We are very confident we will find a way to finance the stadium." #MUFC https://t.co/3O58zyq6AA

The team will play at Old Trafford until the new stadium’s completion. Afterwards, the club’s home for over a century could face demolition if ownership opts not to refurbish the ground.
So, that’s the plan. Those are the concept images.
