Tyrese Haliburton wanted to do a celebration last night worthy of his custom WWE sneakers but thought better of it in the moment.
Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton hit a monster four-point play last night to win an NBA game against the Milwaukee Bucks in a custom pair of D-Generation X PUMA sneakers.
Triple H took to social media to put over the shot and the sneakers after the game, tweeting out:
“Buzzer Beater. Game over. Maybe it’s the shoes? *Crying laughing emoji* @TyHaliburton22,” Triple H said in a post.
Following the game, Haliburton spoke with the media and brought up the sneakers, revealing he wanted to hit the infamous DX crotch chop following the play but he didn’t want to be fined by the NBA.
“Nobody is going to ask about my DX PUMAS? Do you know what DX is? D-Generation X? Do you know the signal? I was going to hit it tonight but I didn’t want the fine,” Tyrese Haliburton said. “I should have, I missed the moment right here. It would have been worth the 25 for sure. Man, that would have been fire.”
