Former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi will have a new home today as he signs a free agent contract with the Buffalo Bills worth an estimated $8.3 million. It has been reported Ogunjobi will be guaranteed $8 million on the one-year pact.
Ogunjobi could make as much as $10 million with incentives.
The agreement, which becomes effective upon signing due to the fact he was released by the Steelers, is the second on the defensive line for the for the Bills in the last 24 hours. Former Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa agreed to terms Tuesday night.
The eight-year veteran has previously played for the Browns and the Bengals before joining the Steelers. He has never played outside of the AFC North. He will be jumping to a new division for the first time in his career.
He was released by the Steelers in a cost-cutting move.
The 108-game career starter will join a Bills team that features Ed Oliver and DaQuan Jones at defensive tackle. Quinton Jefferson and Jordan Phillips are unrestricted free agent after signing one-year deals before last season.

Ogunjobi's did not reproduce the sack totals he posted for the Bengals and the Browns. He averaged 5.5 sacks a season, but could not attain that figure in the Steel City. He had a total of six sacks in three seasons.
All unrestricted free agent contracts are eligible to be signed on Wednesday after 4 p.m. when the league year starts.
The verbal agreements entered into on Monday and Tuesday are merely promises to sign and cannot be enforced until a written contract is signed.
