Salah still clear ahead of the pack in European Golden Shoe chase

LONDON: Mohamed Salah is racing away at the top of the ESM European Golden Shoe rankings.

His two goals last weekend took his total to 27, five clear of Atalanta’s Mateo Retegui.

Marksmen from the Big Five (England, France, Germany, Italy and Spain) benefit from a points multiplier of two. Players in leagues between places six and 22 of the UEFA national ranking 2022 receive a 1.5 coefficient.

As in former years the ranking does not include play-offs or cup matches in the official ranking.
