West Ham Identify Dinos Upgrade in Summer Raid

West Ham United are in desperate need of a major summer shake-up as Graham Potter looks to reshape his squad following an underwhelming Premier League campaign. And it appears that Greek defender Konstantinos Mavropanos is on the chopping block.

Despite Potter having worked his magic to solidify the Hammers’ dodgy backline, Mavropanos remains a liability, with costly errors a far too frequent occurrence. The big centre-back has struggled for consistency, and with West Ham keen to revamp most areas under Potter, his exit from the London Stadium looks inevitable.

A Report in The Mirror suggest that the Irons are wasting no time in identifying a replacement, with Genoa’s Koni De Winter emerging as a priority transfer target. The 22-year-old Belgian, who permanently joined Genoa from Juventus last summer, has impressed in Serie A with his composed defending and ability on the ball.
