New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla will both look different the next time you see them.
Vrabel and Mazzulla both took part in the 12th annual “Saving by Shaving” event to raise money for Boston Children’s Hospital. Celtics forward Sam Hauser also took part, alongside several hundred people who together raised over $3.55 million for the hospital.

“I look forward to ‘Saving by Shaving’ every year. Seeing so many folks from Granite, local government and our Boston sports teams come together to support the work we do for Boston Children’s patients is just incredible,” Boston Children’s President and CEO Kevin B. Churchwell, MD said. “We are grateful for Rob Hale and Granite’s leadership in helping us find life-saving answers for families.”
Mazzulla and Hauser’s new looks can be seen on Wednesday when they [take on the Oklahoma City Thunder](https://nesn.com/2025/03/three-studs-three-duds-as-unlikely-career-night-guides-celtics-past-jazz/) at TD Garden. Vrabel’s might not look the same by the time the 2025 NFL Draft rolls around in late-April.
