Mohamed Salah was the only Liverpool player not to console Darwin Nunez after his penalty miss in the Reds' Champions League defeat by Paris Saint-Germain, footage has revealed.
The Uruguayan was one of two Liverpool players to see their attempts from 12 yards saved by Italian stopper Gigi Donnarumma in their last-16 defeat at Anfield.
The Parisian's had overturned a one-goal deficit from the first leg and withstood a barrage of chances from the home side in normal time to take the game into the extended period before penalties.
And their passionate travelling support would ultimately be the ones rejoicing after Desire Doue converted the fourth of four successful spot kicks. Salah, who was well martialled in both legs by Portuguese defender Nuno Mendes, scored the first of Liverpool's penalties.
But he appeared gutted by the failure of his team-mate and stood alone on the halfway line as his colleagues consoled the devastated Nunez.
Footage circulating on social media shows the 32-year-old, hands on hips and with a stern look on his face, as Liverpool players enveloped Nunez after the miss.

Later, Curtis Jones became only the second English player to miss a penalty in a Champions League shootout when Donnarumma guessed correctly and made a smart low save to his right.
When defeat was confirmed, Salah could be seen in tears. His reaction comes with the possibility of this being his final shot at a second Champions League with Liverpool, having lifted the trophy in 2019.
The Egyptian is yet to sign a new contract on Merseyside, with his existing deal set to run out this summer.
Fellow team-mates Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold also have deals which expire at the end of this campaign - with both still to agree extensions.
Salah has been an integral part of the Liverpool side that have emerged as runaway Premier League leaders - with the Reds currently sitting 15 points ahead of Arsenal.
While Salah and his team-mates will be dejected by defeat in Europe, they have little time to feel sorry for themselves.
They take on Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday, in what is the first piece of major silverware up for grabs this season.
