Liverpool’s Premier League fixture schedule in April has now been finalised.
As Liverpool continue their push for Premier League glory under Arne Slot, the club faces an unusual fixture schedule next month.
Liverpool could be crowned Premier League champions next month, with the Reds needing just four wins and a draw to secure their 20th league title.
All five Premier League games needed to win the title come up in April, and the dates and time for the fixtures have been confirmed following their exit from the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Arne Slot’s side was knocked out by Paris Saint-Germain in a fiercely contested game over two legs. The Reds won the first leg in France, courtesy of a late Harvey Elliott goal from Liverpool’s first and only shot on target on the night.
Liverpool performed better in the second leg, dominating the ball, especially in the first half. However, they were unable to find a way past the PSG backline.
In the end, the visitors won the penalty shootout, with visiting goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma denying both Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones from the spot, and PSG prevailed 4-1 to advance.
Although Liverpool ultimately fell to a disappointing loss, the Reds can hold their heads up for a strong performance in the second leg.
The Reds still have the opportunity to win two trophies this season, starting with the Carabao Cup final on Sunday against Newcastle United.
The Carabao Cup final is their last game for March, with the March international break running from March 17-25.
After that, Liverpool return to Premier League action in April, with the club now confirming time and date of the April fixtures.
