The Phoenix Suns have had a terrible season thus far, but they have seen one of their players show out after receiving more playing time.
Phoenix currently sits 11th in the Western Conference standings with a 30-35 record which has them two and a half games behind the Dallas Mavericks for the final Play-In spot.
Despite the Suns' struggles this season, they have seen Bol Bol continue to develop into a solid player for them in the frontcourt, which has been a major area of problem for Phoenix this season.
With Bol continuing to prove himself this season, former NBA player Tim Hardaway Sr. recently made a bold statement about Bol's abilities compared to a superstar with the San Antonio Spurs.
"I think Bol Bol has the same abilities as Victor Wembanyama," Hardaway Sr. said on a recent episode of FanDuel's Run It Back show. "I think that Bol Bol hasn't went out there and shown it for some reasons, but I see the same athletic ability that Bol Bol has. I'm always in Bol Bol's corner because I see the potential in him and what he can do, it's just that I don't think that he has been able to get that right opportunity to prove himself like a Victor Wembanyama."

Of course, Hardaway Sr. has praised Bol in the past and other NBA legends such has Shaquille O'Neal have also compared Bol's abilities to Wembanyama's.
Despite this, Bol has struggled throughout his career and is nowhere near the level of Wembanyama, but he has also not found the right situation like Hardaway Sr. said and he has also struggled with injuries.
This season has been a breakout year for Bol though as he has even broken into the Suns' starting lineup at times.
The 25-year-old forward is averaging 7.5 points and 3.3 rebounds per game while shooting 51.8% from the field and 32.9% from three.
While Bol has continued to improve and has the same body type as Wembanyama, he has not put up numbers like Wembanyama has and likely will never be a superstar caliber player, but he will continue to play a large role for whichever team he is on.
