The Washington Commanders have agreed to terms on a 1-year deal with Atlanta Falcons DT Eddie Goldman. The news came before the official start of the 2025/26 NFL season, and adds another player to Washington’s revamped defensive line. Jonathan Allen was released, and then GM Adam Peters agreed to terms with a former San Francisco 49ers first round draft pick, DT Javon Kinlaw. Goldman adds another big body to DC Joe Whitt Jr’s defensive line.
Washington will sign DT Eddie Goldman to a one-year deal, as @JFowlerESPN reported. At 6-foot-4, 320 pounds Goldman provides size inside. Played for Atlanta last year; was a 2nd-round pick by Chicago in 2015.
