Russell Wilson visiting the Browns on Thursday and Giants on Friday, source says

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Free agent quarterback Russell Wilson is flying to Cleveland on Wednesday night to visit with the Browns on Thursday, a league source told cleveland.com.

He will then visit the Giants on Friday, a source said.

Wilson spent 2024 with the rival Steelers, going 6-5. A 10-time Pro Bowler, Wilson is looking for a starting opportunity, and will likely choose the team that gives him the best chance. The Steelers might also be interested in re-signing him if he doesn’t land with the Browns or the Giants.

The Browns also acquired another former Steelers quarterback on Monday when they traded with the Eagles for 2022 No. 20 overall pick Kenny Pickett. In exchange, they Dorian Thompson-Robinson and a fifth-round pick this year to Philly.
