Liverpool are going to be without key players for the Carabao Cup final, just like Newcastle United.
The two sides meet at Wembley on Sunday, and the build-up to the game has been dominated by Newcastle United’s issues.
Anthony Gordon is suspended for the Carabao Cup final, while Lewis Hall is injured. If available, they both would have started the game against Liverpool.
But they are not, with Tino Livramento set to start at left-back. In front of him, it remains to be seen who Eddie Howe will pick. Alan Shearer wants Harvey Barnes to start, after his impressive performance against West Ham.

Trent Alexander-Arnold to miss Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United
Howe has some massive decisions to make, and the same goes for Arne Slot.
His side were knocked out of the Champions League on Tuesday night, as they lost to PSG. They also lost a key player, with Trent Alexander-Arnold suffering an injury.
According to the Daily Mail, Alexander-Arnold has avoided a serious ankle injury, but it is bad enough that it will force him to miss the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.
That is a blow for Liverpool, with Conor Bradley also injured. That could result in Jarell Quansah playing at right-back at Wembley.

Who will be in goal for Liverpool against Newcastle United
Interestingly, another one of Liverpool’s superstars may not feature in the starting XI for the cup final.
That is according to the same report from the Daily Mail, who state that Caoimhin Kelleher is more likely to start in goal than Alisson Becker.
They report that Arne Slot prefers to use his second choice goalkeeper in the domestic cups, although a final decision is yet to be made.
It would come as a huge surprise to Newcastle United if they end up playing against Kelleher rather than Alisson.
While the Irishman is a great goalkeeper, Alisson is arguably the best in the world. He showcased that against PSG last week, with Alan Shearer calling Alisson ‘outstanding’ for his performance in Paris.
As for Kelleher, he conceded three goals during his previous game against the Magpies. He was in between the sticks for Newcastle and Liverpool’s 3-3 draw earlier this season, and was at fault for Fabian Schar’s late equaliser.
