Titans Land Former Ravens Pro Bowler on $9 Million Contract

The Tennessee Titans aren't messing around with the offensive line this offseason. The team already handed a massive contract to left tackle Dan Moore but they weren't done there.

On Wednesday, the Titans agreed on a one-year, $9 million contract with former Detroit Lions offensive guard Kevin Zeitler, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He was a key part of one of the best offensive lines in football last season.

He made his lone Pro Bowl in 2023 while playing with the Baltimore Ravens. $9 million is a steal for a good offensive guard in this market but Zeitler is durable and still plays at a high level.

He hasn't missed more than two games in a season since 2014 and Pro Football Focus had him rated as the third-best guard in the NFL last season. Though he's not a long-term option at guard, he'll help solidify the Titans offensive line in 2025.

Tennessee has used back-to-back first-round picks on offensive linemen and now has two proven veterans joining the group. The Titans' offensive line has serious potential if Peter Skoronski and JC Latham can take a leap this season.

Bill Callahan is considered one of the top offensive line coaches in the NFL so whoever is the starting quarterback for the Titans next season will have to feel good about the kind of protections he's going to get.
