Former Chelsea and Liverpool striker Joe Cole has reacted after Kieran Tierney completed 79 minutes at left wing in Arsenal's 2-2 draw with PSV Eindhoven tonight.
The defender was started out of position as Mikel Arteta made a wealth of changes following his side's emphatic 7-1 victory in the first leg last week.
Tierney came into the team and played the majority of the match before he was subbed off with just over 10 minutes to go for Gabriel Martinelli.
Speaking post-match, Cole, who turned out for a wealth of clubs across the UK and Europe throughout his career, was impressed by Tierney: "Kieran Tierney and Oleksandr Zinchenko \[were\] coming into this team for the first time in many, many months," he said ([TNT](https://www.tntsports.co.uk/)).

"They both acquitted themselves very, very well."
Tierney is due back at Celtic this summer.
The 27-year-old has signed a pre-contract to make an emotional move back to his boyhood heroes after initially moving to North London in a then-record-breaking move in 2019.
Manager Brendan Rodgers said a deal to bring Tierney back to Parkhead in January past rather than the off-season wasn't in the works: "No, it wasn't close," he said.
"I think it was clear, obviously, Kieran is for the summer.
"If that was the possibility, then that was on Arsenal's terms. If it was to happen, then great. But clearly, he was a part of their squad.
"He will be here in the summer."
