NFL Reporter Mina Kimes Is Turning Heads With Appearance on Iconic TV Show

Mina Kimes isn't just one of ESPN's most prominent NFL reporters. She also happens to be one of the brightest analysts in the game, with a background in business and sports reporting for the likes of Bloomberg and Fortune before she joined ESPN.

Kimes, who graduated summa cum laude from Yale University in 2007 (Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English), will now get an opportunity to put her wits to the test on the grandest of stages. This comes in the form of a guest appearance on the iconic TV show "Jeopardy!"

Kimes announced on Instagram that she will be one of the contestants for Wednesday's episode of "Celebrity Jeopardy!" on Wednesday night.

"Bucket list item unlocked: I got to meet the iconic @whoiskenjennings! I'm on Celebrity Jeopardy TONIGHT at 9 pm ET on ABC," she captioned her post.

Kimes also revealed that she's "playing to raise money for" Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition, which aims to address the compelling issue of L.A.'s unhoused population.

Kimes' post turned heads on social media as fans and colleagues alike reacted to her "Celebrity Jeopardy!" appearance.

"Yes! Very cool!" commented ESPN's Monica McNutt.

"Who are two of our favorite Mariners fans?" reacted the Seattle Mariners.

"Let's go " posted sports media personality Katie Nolan.

Kimes will be going against comedian Fortune Feimster and actor Omar J. Dorsey on Wednesday's episode. They will compete in the quarterfinals for the grand prize of $1 million, which will benefit their chosen charities.

When she's not representing the sports broadcasting industry in "Celebrity Jeopardy!," fans are able to catch Kimes in her daily appearances on ESPN's "NFL Live" show.
