Over the last few weeks, several senior members of Manchester United staff have announced their immediate or upcoming departures from the club.
Five key members of staff have announced their intent to leave, separate from the second wave of redundancies.
These include; people and transformation director Annie Hale, chief commercial development officer James Holroyd, London-based commercial director Florence Lafaye, head of sports medicine Gary O’Driscoll and senior men’s first-team doctor Jim Moxon.
Now The Daily Mail has reported that one of United’s rivals are looking to sign one of the departing seniors.
The report explains that Gary O’Driscoll is expected to join another Premier League side, however doesn’t specify which.
This would mark his third Premier League side after departing Arsenal in 2023 to join Manchester United, being labelled as “one of the most experienced and respected leaders in sports medicine”.
As such it’s no surprise that other top clubs would be circling to capitalise on his departure from The Red Devils.
Despite his short tenure at Old Trafford, O’Driscoll feels now is the right time to part ways with the club, having led on a series of improvements across United’s medical department.
