The Dallas Cowboys committed to QB Dak Prescott and WR CeeDee Lamb in record breaking ways last off-season. Their offense will run through those two stars for years to come. However, that doesn’t mean they add other impactful players.

Former#Cowboys RB Rico Dowdle is signing with the#Panthers, permike_e_kaye.
Dowdle had over 1,000 rushing yards last season.

As part of their selective aggression on the first day of the NFL’s legal tampering period, the Dallas Cowboys signed a replacement for free agent running back Rico Dowdle. He was the first undreafted free agent in franchise history to rush for over 1,000. Now he has a new home.
Dowdle signed a one-year contract with the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the deal could be worth up to $6.25 million. Last season, the running back led the Dallas Cowboys’ offensive attack with 235 carries for 1,079 rushing yards. Additionally, he scored five touchdowns (three receiving, two rushing).
