Josh Allen’s Clear Opinion on Bills’ Free Agency Moves

The Buffalo Bills are coming off a good season, going 13-4, winning the AFC East, making an AFC Championship Game appearance and having quarterback Josh Allen win his first career MVP Award.

One of the biggest storylines of their offseason has been signing Allen to a six-year, $330 million extension, keeping him with the Bills through the 2030 season and tying him for the second highest-paid player per year ($55 million) in NFL history.

On Wednesday, Allen spoke to the media and answered questions about the deal and his future with Buffalo while also revealing his thoughts on the team's free-agent moves thus far.

"I think we've been having a pretty good free agent run so far," he said.

To his point, the Bills have been active in free agency and even brought in wide receiver Josh Palmer (three years, $36 million) in order to supply Allen with another weapon.

The team has seen most of its notable additions on the defense, though, including defensive end Joey Bosa (one year, $12.6 million), linebacker Michael Hoecht (three years, $21 million), and defensive end Larry Ogunjobi (one year, $8.3 million).

All of these moves have the chance to help the Bills improve on each side of the ball after finishing the 2024 season ranked second in points per game (30.9) and tied for 11th in points per game allowed (21.6)
