On 4th March, Ambassador Xiao Jianguo met with Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Education Yang Mulia Dr. Haji Azman bin Ahmad, and had friendly exchanges on strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of education.
Ambassador Xiao appreciated the fruitful results made by the two sides in the fields of education and people-to-people exchanges, and expressed his willingness to continue to work hand in hand with Brunei side, actively implement the consensus of the Heads of state and the Joint Statement, and to expand more cooperation in the field of education.
Dr. Haji Azman thanked the Chinese side for the support and assistance provided for the cultivation of professional talents of Brunei, especially petro-chemical ones, and expressed his willingness to strengthen communication and exchange with the Chinese side to make greater achievements in inter-school cooperation and school-enterprise cooperation, so as to inject new momentum into the high-quality development of relations between the two countries.
