Centurion Bar at Central Station decked out for Carabao final with Toon Toon windows
The Toon Army will get with a proper Geordie send off as they head down to Wembley for the Carabao Cup final this weekend.
Black and white stripes have been popping up across the city in recent days, alongside well wishes for The Magpies ahead of the big game against Liverpool on Sunday. Huge murals, Newcastle flags, window art and balloon displays are just some of the ways fans have been showing their support.
And now Centurion Bar at Newcastle's Central Station has joined the growing display of Geordie pride, with Newcastle United themed windows and decked out bar.
The family-owned venue has unveiled a huge window display, with the words "Toon Toon" displayed in the windows which stretches across the length of the building. The wording is set on a backdrop of black and white stripes.

Centurion General Manager Ronnie Dowdswell said: "It's fantastic to see city centre businesses rallying behind Newcastle United. We hope our Black and White display serves as the perfect GOOD LUCK send-off for all the fans heading to Wembley."
Featuring state-of-the-art 86" 4K screens, bar's exclusive VIP lounges—Stephenson and Ridley—are consistently in high demand, especially for televised NUFC matches. The lounges offer an immersive all-sports viewing experience in a setting of unmatched luxury.
Chris Sanderson, Managing Director of STR, the family-run hotel and leisure business behind Centurion Bar, said: "Newcastle United is a major driver of the city centre's hospitality economy. Over the past few years, we've witnessed firsthand the incredible impact of the club's resurgence.
"We take great pride in the fact that Centurion Bar is often the first taste of the famous Geordie welcome for the increasing numbers of international NUFC supporters."
