The study of this paper aims to bring to light the issue of water shortage which happens to be one of the problems faced by people around the globe, and further initiate quality debates on this matter. It is essential to awaken the consciousness of people with regards to the intensity of the problem. If this issue is not taken seriously, the inhabitants will suffer more in the future. It will worsen until it becomes unbearable and unmanageable. This is the base of this research work. We will begin with the possible reasons causing the issue of water shortage. Moreover, we will discuss in detail the expected impacts of the water shortage on people’s lives individually, and in the country as a whole. Finally, we will tackle the actions need to be taken by every individual on a personal level, and by the country through the help of the government. This is to eradicate or minimize the possible effects in the future. Igniting the awareness of the people, and the government’s role in planning the projects wisely and accordingly, are the game changer for the country.
