The idea of smart government is becoming more and more popular in public affairs and government affairs today. The goal of this study is to investigate the idea of smart governance and determine its global ranking. This research established the following components of smart government: economic growth, policy making, citizen engagement, accountability, interoperability, key enablers innovation, smart service, and government effectiveness using official global e-government and government data.
