The Timberwolves Continue Their Dominance Over the Nuggets

The Minnesota Timberwolves have extended their winning streak to six games. At the same time, they continued to show their dominance over the Denver Nuggets.

This dates back to their Western Conference Semi-Finals series in 2024. Like the most recent Minnesota-Denver game, it was another blowout, a 115-95 win for the Timberwolves.

Minnesota was off to the races from the jump, scoring the first seven points of the game. Denver had a slow start, as they missed shots and even free throws.

Of course, the Nuggets came back and cut in the lead as the game progressed. However, they were too sloppy as the Timberwolves took advantage and cruised to the 115-95 win.

Edwards and Randle Stepped Up Again

This marks the 11th straight win for the Timberwolves whenever Julius Randle is in the active lineup. He was superb yet again, scoring 25 points.

Anthony Edwards was once again the standout for Minnesota, posting 29 points, four rebounds, and six assists.

Conversely, the Nuggets were mostly anemic in their offense apart from Nikola Jokic. The three-time MVP had a solid performance with 34 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.

Minnesota has impressive momentum right now, which is just at the right time. There is a month left before the end of the regular season, so seeding matters even more.

Unfortunately for the Timberwolves, their biggest rival in the Playoff hunt, the Golden State Warriors are also on a long winning streak.

Time for a Five-Game Homestand

Now that the Timberwolves are going back to Minneapolis after the win against Denver, they will enjoy a five-game homestand at Target Center.

They will be playing against the visiting Orlando Magic to start it off on March 14, and they will play four more games until March 21.

This is a needed stretch for the Timberwolves because they can keep building momentum. With the current winning streak, the fans at Target Center will be passionately cheering for them.

The Timberwolves are completely healthy at the right time. Head coach Chris Finch is loving where the team is at the moment, the future is bright for this team.
