Arsenal will face reigning champions Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League after progressing past PSV Eindhoven.
The Gunners took a 7-1 lead into the second leg of their last 16 tie, and a 2-2 draw at The Emirates on Wednesday night was enough to see Mikel Arteta’s side progress with a 9-3 aggregate victory.
Real Madrid will undoubtedly provide a stern test for Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the competition, but in the meantime it has emerged that the North London side are one of a number of Premier League teams chasing an England star.
According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all chasing Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.
The 25-year-old joined Forest from Wolves in the summer of 2022, having previously impressed on loan at Swansea City and Sheffield United.
He has since played 106 times for Forest, scoring 16 goals and registering 24 assists across all competitions.
Gibbs-White has impressed ever since joining Forest from Wolves
This season the Englishman has registered a combined 11 goals and assists in 24 league games to help Nuno Esperito Santo’s side challenge at the top of the Premier League table.
The report claims that the player is firmly on the radar of the Reds, the Gunners and the Red Devils, while both Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are also keeping tabs on the England international.
Gibbs-White made his England debut as a substitute against the Republic of Ireland last year, and was also involved against Greece in November.
The attacking midfielder is under contract with Forest until the end of the 2026/27 campaign, but it appears that the City Ground outfit may face a battle to keep hold of the player beyond this summer with several clubs circling.
It is claimed that, while Forest are hoping to agree a new deal with Gibbs-White, the player himself is open to a move away and the club could accept an offer in the region of £50 million.
