David Moyes will be very worried with five key players set to miss vital West Ham clash

David Moyes will be desperate for his Everton team to beat his former club West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday.

West Ham head to Goodison Park this weekend for the final time, to take on Everton and our former gaffer David Moyes in the Premier League.

With both teams level on 33 points in the table, a win for either side would separate them from the other.

Graham Potter replaced Julen Lopetegui as the new Hammers boss in January – the man who took over from David Moyes at the start of the 2024/25 season.

And the Hammers hierarchy are said to be impressed with the impact that Potter has already made at the London Stadium.

However, the results haven’t been great have they, aside from the superb win away at Arsenal in February.

And a win away at Everton on Saturday would give everyone involved with the club a huge lift.

David Moyes worry with 5 players to miss Premier League West Ham clash

The Hammers need a win on Merseyside.

Obviously the three points would be vitally important if we are to finish anywhere near the top 10.

But it would also be really sweet to beat our former manager’s new team.

Everton have been in fine form since Moyes took over, with the Scot safely guiding them away from any threat of relegation.

He has overseen a brilliant run of results, and it has been very much a case of Moyes doing what he does best – coming into a relegation threatened team and having an immediate impact.

The Toffees may well struggle to beat the Hammers this weekend though…

Terrible news for Everton ahead of West Ham clash

According to Premier Injuries, the Merseyside outfit will be without five key men for the Hammers clash.

Orel Mangala, Armando Broja, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Dwight McNeil and Iliman Ndiaye will all miss the clash through injury.

That’s terrible news for Moyes for very obvious reasons.

However, West Ham players cannot afford to think that Everton will represent an easy three Premier League points on Saturday.

David Moyes will have his side very well-drilled and massively up for this one.

Let’s just hope that the Hammers players rise to the challenge.
