Qudruple dreams gone:
**Liverpool**were looking forward to winning the quadruple this season. However, they still lost their chance yet again like they did in their previous season. The players were looking forward to scoring several goals against Paris Saint Germain at Anfield. However, the problem is that they were way too overconfident. In the match, they literally did not try at all.
The Anfield atmosphere they keep talking about was literally invisible. The players were looking frustrated and out of place. The players were terrible. Mohammed Salah was literally ghosting all throughout the match as well. He was literally nowhere to be found to be honest. Darwin Nunez missed the penalty at a crucial moment for **Liverpool**as usual too. It is no doubt that every time Liverpool says they are going to win the quadruple they end up winning only one trophy.
Liverpool Player Ratings vs PSG:
Alisson performed really well. He was literally 8 out of 10 to be honest. In the penalties he did not perform well at all. However, in the normal match he made some really great saves. Paris Saint Germain scored only one goal.
Trent Alexander Arnold was 6 out of 10. He was very mediocre in that match.
Ibrahima Konate was also very mediocre and his rating was 6 out of 10 as well.
Virgil Van Dijk performed well throughout the match. However, he was not that great in the second half. His rating was 7 out of 10.
Andy Robertson gave some great passes and was also pretty good defensively. His rating was 7 out of 10 to be honest.
Ryan Gravenberch was horrendous and his rating was 6 out of 10 to be honest.
Alexis Mac Allister was really great along side Dominik Szobozslai. Both of their ratings were 7 out of 10 to be honest.
Mohammed Salah did not play the match probably. However, Liverpool said that he was in the line up. His rating was 1 out of 10. The only people who will give him more rating than this are biased Liverpool fans.
Diogo Jota was 5 out of 10. He was also as bad as Salah but he was seen in the match.
Luis Diaz was 8 out of 10. He was probably the only attacker of Liverpool who performed well.
Darwin Nunez was 5 out of 10, Jarell Quansah was 4 out of 10, Curtis Jones was 5 out of 10, Harvey Elliott was 5 out of 10 and also Wataru Endo was 5 out of 10.
Author’s Opinion:
I think this was a deserved loss for**Liverpool** to be honest. There was no Anfield atmosphere and there was no Salah masterclass that day. All his balon dor hopes are gone.
