Everton will find it “very difficult” to secure a reunion with Tottenham striker Richarlison this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
Spurs will be keen to recoup as much of the £50million-plus fee they paid to land the striker in 2022.
Richarlison is attracting interest from Everton ahead of the summer transfer window, almost three years on from his Goodison Park exit – which became necessary for financial reasons.
However, it is believed Everton would find it hard to reach Tottenham’s huge asking price – even after the influx of cash following The Friedkin Group’s (TFG) takeover on Merseyside.
Everton unlikely to meet Tottenham’s Richarlison demands
The Brazil international has attracted interest from Saudi Pro League clubs recently and told friends he wanted to quit Spurs in the January transfer window.
Richarlison would be keen on a return to Everton but it is likely to be out of his hands – even with David Moyes desperate to bring a new striker to the club this summer.
