**INDIANAPOLIS** **–** While in Cincinnati, Lou Anarumo made sure he had some big dudes among his defensive line depth.

So you knew some additions were going to come there with the Colts.

And the first one came late Wednesday night, with the Colts adding 28-year-old Neville Gallimore.

Think of the 6-2, 315-pound Gallimore as mostly a space eating defensive tackle reserve, trying to serve a role that the recently cut Raekwon Davis could not.

Gallimore, a former 3rd round pick of the Cowboys, has played in 52 NFL games (18 starts). He’s had 109 tackles, 4.0 sacks, 11 tackles for loss and 10 quarterback hits in his career.

The NFL future of Gallimore was a bit up in the air last August after the Dolphins cut him following the preseason.

But the Canadian native found a home with the Rams, and proved to be at his best in LA’s biggest games of the season.

Gallimore had 2.5 sacks in 45 playoff snaps (two games) for the Rams, including a 5-tackle game against the Vikings, which is one tackle short of his career-high.

Again, view Gallimore more as depth behind Grover Stewart, where the exiting Davis did play 349 rotational depth snaps last year.

The Colts still need some defensive line attention more out on the edge, preferably with a hint of versatility, a la the departing Dayo Odeyingbo.

With this move, the Colts have now added 5 new free agents in 2025, already tying the high for a Chris Ballard offseason.
