Everton are likely to be very busy this summer – and there is now word of a potential new centre-back target.
The Toffees can now begin planning for next season, with relegation no longer a concern.
The arrival of David Moyes in January has prompted a remarkable turnaround, and Everton are not looking over their shoulder anymore.
The Scot has Everton on an eight-game unbeaten run in the Premier League, and has improved many players who were really struggling beforehand under Sean Dyche.
Moyes will receive a healthy transfer budget this summer, and fans are excited to see what can happen in the first summer window under The Friedkin Group.
With Michael Keane set to leave Everton, the club are in the market for a new centre-back – and Thomas Kristensen of Udinese is on the club’s radar.

It has been claimed by Caught Offside that Everton are one of several teams in the mix to sign Udinese centre-back Thomas Kristensen this summer.
The Denmark youth international has been attracting attention lately, and is the subject of interest from several clubs in the Premier League.

Everton
West Ham United
Bournemouth
Nottingham Forest
All four are said to be ‘seriously considering’ a move for Kristensen, having had scouts closely follow him.
There is also interest from Serie A giants AC Milan and Juventus.
And there’s word of a potential valuation, with Caught Offside claiming there’s a belief in the industry that Kristensen could leave Udinese for around €15-20 million (£12.5-£17 million) in the summer.
A move for Kristensen would certainly be in keeping with Everton’s current backline, which has a lot of height.
Kristensen is a man mountain at 1.98m, making him ever so slightly taller than Everton’s tallest outfield player Jake O’Brien (1.97m).
Everton have recently done business with Udinese
So Everton are in the mix for Kristensen, but it sounds like there could be a big battle for his signature this summer.
But Everton have become an attractive proposition again having been taken over and with the new stadium move from next season.
There is also the fact that Everton and Udinese did business in the summer of 2023, with Beto heading to Goodison Park in a deal worth up to £30 million.
Potentially, there will be a good relationship between the clubs there, which may aid any pursuit of Kristensen this summer.
