Newcastle United know they need to sign a striker this summer.
It will be a priority for Eddie Howe, with Callum Wilson on course to leave Newcastle United when his contract expires at the end of the season.
While he could be offered an extension, that seems unlikely. The 33-year-old could remain in the Premier League, however, with West Ham interested in Wilson.
No matter where he goes, Newcastle United know they will need to sign a replacement.
Newcastle informed about Dusan Vlahovic being available
One option that could be presented to them is Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic – whether they like it or not!
That is according to TBR Football’s chief correspondent Graeme Bailey, who has spoken to Geordie Boot Boys about the Serbian striker’s future.

“Newcastle are being kept informed on Dusan Vlahovic’s situation,” he said.
“However, I am not entirely convinced that is at their behest. But Paul Mitchell will be made aware that he could be available for less than £30million.

“He does have hefty wages, but he is an outstanding player. He would be in the category of striker options if Newcastle were to lose Isak, I would imagine.
“He’s only got a year left, and Juventus want him out. That is why he is going to be available for a decent price.”
Newcastle will be presented with lots of strikers like Vlahovic
Newcastle have been made aware about Vlahovic’s situation, but that does not necessarily mean they are interested. They did not ask to be made aware.
When it comes to the Magpies, they will be presented with a plethora of striker options in the coming months as it is well known that they will be in the market for one. With Wilson on the way out and endless rumours about Alexander Isak’s future, agents are presenting Newcastle with strikers, as they aim to get their clients a summer move.
In truth, a player like Vlahovic is not going to be on Newcastle’s radar as long as Isak remains at St James’ Park.
Wherever the 25-year-old goes, he will want to be a guaranteed starter. That would not be the case if he joined Isak at Newcastle United. It is the same reason why Newcastle probably will not sign Benjamin Sesko, despite watching the Slovenian.
That will not concern Toon fans, as the priority is retaining the services of Isak.
