Newcastle scouts have been monitoring the progress of Delap. They can step-up their interest in summer. But, it will not be easy to sign him as Chelsea will surely not give up easily. The are prepared to spend big on the 22 year old.
Ipswich Town are very happy with Delap and want to keep him beyond this season. But, they are likely to fail in doing this as they are in relegation zone. Delap is too good to play in Championship and hence may opt to switch sides.
