AC Milan signed Kyle Walker from Manchester City on a loan deal in the winter transfer window.
The Englishman has become a regular for the Rossoneri, despite his injury problems. Across all competitions, he’s played eight times.
Milan have the option to buy the right-back permanently in the summer and now confidence is rising that he will leave Manchester City definitively.
Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Walker is now destined to stay at Milan beyond this season and the newspaper are quite sure of the possibility.
They state the Rossoneri are happy with how the veteran has played so far and he’s also had a rather positive impact on the club’s dressing room. As a result, ‘they will buy him’ permanently in the summer transfer window.
Sergio Conceicao’s side have the option to buy the ex-Tottenham man for a fee of €5m.
Considering how the 34-year-old’s current deal at Manchester City is running out in the summer of 2026, a fee of that sort could be useful for the Citizens, largely because of how Walker’s prominence in the side had reduced over the past few months.
