‘Has his bags packed’ – Player heading back to Chelsea with tail between legs

Right after Joao Felix joined AC Milan on loan from Chelsea, there was optimism surrounding the forward.

He scored on his Coppa Italia debut and the Italian media was praising him for his abilities.

Since then, things have gone wrong for the Chelsea loanee. He hasn’t scored since that debut and AC Milan fans have started to criticise him for his poor performances.

Whilst that isn’t a new experience for the Portuguese attacker, Gazzetta dello Sport have today briefly taken a look at the 25-year-old’s situation and made it clear his Rossoneri days are numbered.

They believe Felix’s situation is such that he already ‘has his bags packed’ for a return to Chelsea. That is because of his frustrating situation at Milan, who have been left unconvinced by his showings in red and black.

The initial optimism has been replaced by negativity, with the Diavolo themselves struggling. They have been knocked out of the Champions League and find themselves a concerning ninth in the table.

Jorge Mendes’ role was said to be the key in Felix’s move to Milan, with the agent now working closely with the Italian giants as he also represents Conceicao and Rafael Leao. Clearly, it is an experiment that is failing and for many, that is not a huge surprise.
